Who wouldn't want to look at the largest mall on earth?  The shopping center is part of your 20 billion dollars downtown organic (yes, 20 billion with a b).  It features 1,200 different stores, and is probable home to every store you can think of, and also a good deal more.  Among the best features is the fact you can gain access to the shopping center from the air-port without ever needing to step outside in to the scorching heating.  The shopping center is directly connected by air conditioned footbridges (I called them gerbil pipes) to the subway.

You can't go to Dubai rather than have a desert safari.  Quite quickly you can leave Dubai to see only blowing fine sand dunes for kilometers and miles.  You can find tour operators around town selling deals.  Usually they remain $50 you need to include a city head to, some 4x4 dune crashing, camp fireplace dinner, and stomach dancing.  There's also trips that feature camel riding, fine sand boarding, therefore much more.
